Concepts maps
I had previously mentioned that I find Concept maps helpful in learning. Most of the work seems to involve academic communities but I think there is use in other communities as well. I will be uploading maps which may be useful to others. One weakness of using pictures for blogs is that people may not be able to find the information easily through search engines. Most search engines are optimized for locating text. Let’s see how this experiment works out!
Why learning FIT is useful?
There are many benefits of learning FIT. It helps to facilitate integration testing. Using a tool like Fitnesse further enhances productivity to edit your tests and verify that you are indeed meeting the stated requirements.
I have used Fitnesse for testing rules which are executed by Drools rule engine. With fit-for-rules framework, I want to explore the power of FIT based testing for rules.
Computer usage and library science
It seems to me that everyone should be taught some form for library management techniques as we are having to sort through so much information. We are constantly struggling to organize – files (physical and soft – computer), reference information, bookmarks, emails etc etc.

Echo2
Echo2 is the next generation framework that allows you to create web applications. The biggest strengths are Java based, and you don’t have to think in terms of pages but think in terms of application.
I have used Echo v1.x and have been impressed by the ease of development environment. Granted it may not suit all types of deployments but it is very helpful to generate applications that require a lot of state maintenance.
