Google Presentations - Powerpoint Alternative

Today Google has made available Google Presentation software which is available through Google Apps.

There seems to another web based presentation tool coming out from SlideRocket. It seems to be Flash based. The product tour and presentation looks very impressive though. http://www.sliderocket.com/productTour.html

Yesterday’s news about Yahoo purchasing Zimbra puts the spot light on alternatives to MS Office components. Who knows how long before SlideRocket is acquired!

IBM Symphony - MS Office Alternative

Today IBM is planning to announce free software alternative to MS Office Desktop – IBM Symphony. There is buzz on the net but the link to software is hard to find on the IBM site.
